Itinerary:
DEC 29th: ARRIVAL

Individual flight to Iceland (not included, check flight information). Transfer from Keflavik airport to your accommodation in Reykjavík.

DEC 30th: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE TOUR

Day at leisure. After breakfast you will have the opportunity to do the Golden Circle tour, taking in the natural highlights of the south of Iceland: Kerid, a huge volcanic crater turned lake; Gullfoss, Iceland‘s most famous and picturesque waterfall; Geysir, the world-famous geothermal area; Thingvellir, National Park of greathistoric interest and beauty.

DEC 31st: BLUE LAGOON EXCURSION - New Year's feast

Day at leisure or maybe you wish to visit the fascinating Blue Lagoon and have a relaxing bath in the nature before ending the last day of the year. The evening starts with a cocktail in the lobby bar of Grand Hotel, followed by a New Year’s Eve gala dinner. After the main course you will have the opportunity to visit the traditional bonfires all around Reykjavík. At midnight you can watch the spectacular fireworks with a great view from the hotel and with luck, be accompanied by some fabulous Northern Lights. An Icelandic band will acompany you into the New Year. For guests staying at Hotel Holt and Hotel Fron, the dining will be in the old town in Restaurant Einar Ben. For celebrations after midnight, there is no better place to be than right in the old town.  

JAN 01st: THE DAY AFTER

On the first day of the year, most Icelanders have a lie-in. For those who are fit and active, you can choose from several excursions or check what`s on in Reykjavik!

JAN 02nd: DEPARTURE DAY

After breakfast you will take the shuttle transfer from your hotel to the airport. Flight back home.
