Blue Lagoon
Daily excursion to the most popular sight of Iceland
Good to know:
The Blue Lagoon is a unique geothermal spa situated in the youngest lava field in west Iceland. The water’s temperature is 37-39°C / 98-102°F. The lagoon holds six million litres of geothermal sea water, which is renewed every 40 hours. Regular sampling shows that “common” bacteria do not thrive in this ecosystem, thus additional cleansers such as chlorine are not needed.
Once there, you have many recreational options, such as walking in the Blue Lagoon’s spectacular surroundings
and bathing in the milky blue-green water.
