You can go whale watching all around Iceland from Reykjavik, Husavik, Hafnafjordur, Reykjanes, Vestmannaeyjar to mention few. Why not even combine both whale watching and birdwatching or sea angling?
Iceland has become a popular whale watching destination. Regular sightings from whale watching boats in Iceland include the infamous Killer whale orcas, humpback whales, pilot whales, minke whales, white beaked dolphins and harbour porpoises, not forgetting sperm, fin and blue whales.

Good to know:
Whale watching tours operate from the beginning of April through to the end of October, from the old harbour in Reykjavík. A 3-hour boat excursion leaving from Reykjavik harbour, outside which you have a good chance of spotting Minke Whales and occasionally Humpback and Orca along with white beaked dolphins and harbour porpoise.

Dates: April – Sept. daily at 09:00 / 13:00 and 17:00, from June to August and also at 10:00 and 14:00 from 01 July to 10 August.
