Good to know:

Geysir, the one and only. His smaller but bushier brother Strokkur geyser is erupting approx. every 5 minutes. Unbelievable how Mother Nature can form such a steam explosion. You can’t miss it! Gullfoss waterfall is neither the highest one nor the most powerful, but surely the most famous one. If you are lucky you might find a treasure under the rainbow, the bridge to Valhalla. Langjökull Glacier is the second largest of Europe. If conditions are positive we will drive and walk on the glacier, an unforgettable experience. As a bonus, Þingvellir the ancient Parliament site where two continental plates are drifting apart and there by forming a rift valley, is an essential part of the excursion. And we will pass the Hengill volcano, which we are trying to cool down by activating the heat in devils kitchen to warm up our houses. The Golden Circle Glacier tour is a must for those who want to see everything, and much more, on a one day excursion!
