Good to know:

To get to Thorsmörk we need to cross countless rivers on our Super Jeep. As a well sheltered valley from the coastal wind because of the high surrounding glacier covered volcanoes, and from the traffic of visitors because of countless rivers to cross, -Thorsmörk has become a paradise of hikers and nature enthusiasts. And the Off Road fans will love to cross the rivers as a challenge. On the way we will pass the former Gigjökull´s glacial lagoon that got filled up by the volcanic material from the Eyjafjallajökull eruption April 2010, the Seljalandsfoss waterfall, the cultivated South and the active Hengill volcano.
