There are restaurants of all kinds, and if you have problems choosing, we are happy to help you. Depending on your arrival, it might be enough time to go on a whale-watching boat tour from the old harbour.

This day tour will take you to the mystical hot springs in the geyser area, Gullfoss and Thingvellir. The tour's first stop is the national park Thingvellir. This is the place where the world's first national parliament was founded. It was established in 930 AD and sessions were held in the area until 1798. This beautiful place is situated on the American and European continental ridge which makes this a very special place. The second stop for the day is the spectacular Gullfoss. Fridheimar is a greenhouse and a restaurant, standing as the largest greenhouse in Iceland. Here the participants will learn how to grow perfect, natural tomatoes with the help of geothermal heat. Fridheimar relies solely on Icelandic water and gets help from over 600 bumblebees to pollinate the tomatoes.
