Exciting news from Iceland: There has recently been another volcanic eruption on the Reykjanes Peninsula in Meradalur. The area is not far from the Fagradalsfjall eruption site, where magma last came to the surface in September 2021. There is currently no immediate danger for residents or air travelers, as the area is uninhabited. More information will follow shortly.
